Our Story

After working for several years in the corporate world in clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry, and then working one-on-one with clients as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner and Holistic Health Practitioner over the last decade, Esther Becart recognized that Ottawa’s bustling workforce and various institutions needed more convenient alternative and complementary healthcare options. To meet the growing demand and address the negative repercussions of some common health issues for employees and their employers, a comprehensive mobile bodywork and holistic health service, Enlightened Health Capital, was created to help reduce pain, stress, increase mobility and enhance overall wellness across the Ottawa Region. 

Meet Esther Bécart, M.Sc., DOMP, CMIP, CECP, CBCP

Founder, Program Coordinator, Manual Osteopathic Practitioner and Holistic Practitioner with over 20 years of experience and training in health sciences and a rich spectrum of alternative and complementary modalities

Esther is committed to providing professional, personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, delivering exceptional holistic care conveniently to you. Her academic excellence, graduating at the top of her class from the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy, is complemented by foundational training in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naturopathic Medicine and various holistic modalities, enriching her practice with a unique and powerful blend of knowledge and deep insights into Drugs, Nutrition, Health Psychology, Hydrotherapy, Herbal and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bioenergetics, Mind-Body approaches, Somato-Emotional release, and more. With her diverse health background and experience, she enhances osteopathic sessions with an integrative, somatic and holistic approach, which can address not only the physical, but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of well-being. 

Esther brings a unique and invaluable perspective to her practice: a rare insight gained from years working in the corporate world in dynamic and fast-growing pharmaceutical companies in Toronto and Montreal, which equips her with a deep understanding of the needs, challenges and pressures faced by both management and employees. This insight allows her to craft truly tailored and flexible mobile osteopathic and holistic care services to individuals and organizations alike, providing result-oriented, win-win solutions that resonate with both parties.
